Galaxy AHi @Mike1729, thanks for reaching out to us. Based on what you're describing, I suggest sending an Error Report via the Samsung Members app so that we can look further into this.
To do this:
Open Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Reports > Camera > Describe issue and frequency > Tick 'send log data' > Attach a photo as example, before vs after issue if possible > Send.
These error reports go to our team for analysis. Once they have been examined, they will get back to you with a response which can be viewed via the in-app notification bell. I recommend sending these reports within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring to increase the likelihood of the logs capture any potential software glitches.
