Since the A12 doesn't support AOD, why wont samsung implement it? Again a stupid question since its an Ips Lcd display and not an amoled display. Then why does the LG phone manages to achieve that?

Theres a feature in samsung where a game is idle it will dim it. Can this be applicable to the display? Like will it have a feature a AOD on the next UI update?

If not i have a question, is attemping to use AOD (App) in a lcd phone bad?

Using AOD on phones that have LCD display is bad idea, it will consume a lot of battery.

The pixels on LCD display are always on even when displaying black, pixels will only turn off if you turn off the phone, unlike in OLED/Amoled where the pixels are turned off when displaying black, so it won't consume battery. That's why only phones with OLED or Amoled display have AOD and the reason why using a black wallpaper can save battery for OLED/Amoled phones.

The reason is it can cause some issues like the phone heating up and it will cause a lot of battery soo it will not atleast but you can download some 3rd party apps for that if you really want to

You use an app tho like *Muviz Edge* at play store or the mod version.Screenshot_20220320-071838_Muviz Edge_27205_1647731918.jpg

Thats the diff., Amoled can use individual pixel to minimize power consumption.
