BACKUP A55 USING SMART SWITCH

Updated from S20 to A55. Regularly Backup phone to computer using Smart Switch.
The A55 has SIM card and a SD card (music collection). Same as my previous S20.
The S20 always backed up OK to computer. I always unticked backing up the SD card so only my phone data was backed up.

When I use Smart Switch to do backup of the A55 it backs up the SD card onto my phone (not computer) taking up almost all the memory even though I have unticked the SD card in Smart Switch. 

It does backup the phone data to my computer, that part is OK.

Smart Switch is latest version. A55 is latest software.

Any thoughts on how to tell Smart Switch to leave the SD card alone?

Last time I used Smart Switch, I was able to back it up to an external hard drive connected to the phone. So I think it's just there in the settings

Thanks. The phone settings only offer the Cloud or SD card but I went into the Smart Switch settings on my computer and managed to direct it to an external hard drive. Then checked the phone SD card and nothing there so all is now good 🙂
