Galaxy AI have an A32 that I'd like to give to an elderly friend.
I'm unable to unlock it with the pin (been a few years since I've used it since upgrading to the S23 Ultra) and I can't turn the phone off/restart it without having to use the pin to unlock the phone.
Is there a way to unlock the phone without the pin so I can do the factory reset on it?
Going to let the battery drain in the meantime.

Galaxy A
Try this:
1. Let the battery drain (as you are doing)
2. Plug it into a charger but don’t turn it on
3. Hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo shows
4. In Recovery Mode, use volume buttons to select Wipe data/factory reset and confirm with Power
It may still ask for the original Google account after reset (Factory Reset Protection), so make sure you have those details
