My A71 only lasted 2 years then this white/green vertical lines appeared out of nowhere. My phone was never dropped, never submerged in water, never put in tight pockets that may cause slight bends. I also always put thick cases and glass screen protectors as I am a very careful person when it comes to gadgets (knowing how ridiculously expensive they are nowadays). I also update my phone always to the latest software. This issue first started with the whole screen having a green discoloration followed by green and magenta/pink flickering. I just ignored it for a while, thinking it was just a bug or something. The next few weeks however, one white line appeared. Then a few more days later there are now 10 lines (some are combined so it may be hard to see). I have also seen this issue in many Galaxy A devices as well as S20 series devices. Please Samsung if you have any explanation or fix for this, kindly do so. It has been affecting a lot of users already.

It varies from hardware to software problem. Personally my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G also got greenline and white screen. But after a software update it all disappeared.

I also have this problem just today, in fact this very evening. It started as faint black line in the middle and few more seconds it became discolored and then turned white. And I already had downloaded the latest software last week. This A71 has been with me for almost 3 years and never dropped it nor putting the phone in tight spaces, same issues as the other A71 users even with utmost care for reasons that to avoid buying new decent phones nowadays because they are expensive.

This happened to me just today to my A71. The line appeared while I was casually browsing. Nawala mga 2 seconds then bumalik. Ayaw na matanggal. 😓😓😓
