I've just "upgraded" to an A16 from A15 and finfind AR mode isn't supported. I need AR for some areas of my game (Pokemon GO) - without it I can't scan within the game. Any idea how I can get around this- Note: explicit instructions necessary for this ol' lady.
1. Check ARCore Availability * Open Play Store * Search “Google Play Services for AR” * If you can’t install it, ARCore is not officially supported
If it is indeed unsupported, you have the below options. * Note that these are unofficial and may result in unintended consequences like blocks / bans;
2. Install ARCore Manually * Go to: apkmirror.com * Search: “Google Play Services for AR” * Download the latest arm64-v8a APK * Enable Unknown Sources * Install the APK * Note: May or may not work depending on device integrity checks (Pokémon GO is picky)
3. Try ARCoreForAll (Modded APK) * Search for: “ARCoreForAll APK site:xda-developers.com” * Download and install * Reboot * Test AR features in Pokémon GO * Note: Still may not work. Niantic blocks some unofficial setups
