How can I upgrade my A23 4g for NFC

I want to use my afterpay & Zip Pay in store. But it says I need to upgrade my phone to use NFC in settings. I don't understand how to do that and I don't understand in general

@Missy-1408 unfortunately you cannot upgrade that device to support NFC.
You would need to buy new device that has NFC built in.

Missy we can't.. I actually had to use my ancient J16 (:)) ) via hotspot in store to use my AfterPay instore.
Is THE ONLY HARDWARE MISSING FROM THE A23s. Sigh. Alas..

It's kind of a necessary feature nowadays. I just got this phone new as an upgrade to my Samsung A20 but now I find out my old phone with a crack in the screen that I've had for years has better features than the A23.. I'm disappointed. I'll have to do what you did and bring my old phone to use after pay in store.
