Galaxy AHi,
I need help connecting my Galaxy A53 to an external USB-C moniter.
I'm using the USB-C cable that came with the Samsung Fast charger.
The external monitor shows "NO SIGNAL" then goes into "POWER SAVE"
Do I need a special USB-C cable?
Do I need to make any configuration changes on my phone?
Thanks!

Galaxy AI don't think the A53 has MHL (mobile high-def link), meaning it can't be directly plugged in with a USB C cable. It might be possible to use a USB to HDMI adapter (or USB C to HDMI cable) to plug directly into the monitor.
Other possibilities is screen sharing (Smart View) if both devices are on the same network (however may only work with smart TVs).
If you have a chromecast handy, I saw a quick video which shows how to display using chromecast plugged into a TV. I believe they also work with monitors as just uses a hdmi port (https://youtu.be/waQ1518Q3Tg).
Hope this helps.
