Light or Dark Mode

What mode do you use on your device?

I use both. Light mode during the day, dark mode during the night. Scheduled of course.

I should add that, the reason I don't use Dark mode always is because I didn't observe any battery usage difference. One UI elements aren't really full black after all. Most elements are gray with a black background. And by the time dark mode kicks in, I'm already at home or heading home so charging ain't a problem 😄.

I do use an AMOLED friendly wallpaper, but seriously, how long do you keep your phone on wallpaper only lol. It's almost negligible. I hope ONE UI adopts an AMOLED mode where Dark mode is really pure black with no gray elements.

on the battery usage difference, i also observed that too! i guess it really depends on how long or how often you use your phone. can you tell me what are AMOLED friendly wallpapers? i heard that the type of wallpaper you use can also affect (not that much) battery life.

It's a live wallpaper called AMOLED. Aesthetically pleasing, and yeah, battery drain is negligible.

does dark mode really help save battery? i use dark mode too but i really see no difference in battery consumptions between both modes. maybe it's just me or idk hahaha.

Black theme in light mode. Just because i want to keep the original colors of the theme i use but don't want something too bright..and dark mode for me is just...plain 😅
