One UI 8 photo widget black background only

Why is there a blaack background on a clipped photo? It's supposed to have no background when put in a widget at homescreen. Pls bring it back. It looks ugly now. As an aesthetic homescreen girlie this stresses me out ackkk

not on one ui 8, but this also happened to me when i updated to one ui 7, so i just edited the image on canva with transparent bg 🥲
