Hi @ozygonzo, what model is your phone? Does this happen when you are on speaker, on normal calls, or on wifi calls?

I would recommend also checking if this issue has to do with your microphone. To check this on your device, follow these steps:

  1. Open Samsung Members > tap on Get help at the bottom of the page
  2. Tap on Interactive checks > Microphone. Record yourself for 3 seconds as prompted. I would recommend recording which using your phone the way you use it during calls. This check will allow you to see if it has to do with microphone quality.

Let us know how this goes!

Hmm, which service provider are you with? I would recommend checking your mobile network. Here are some steps you can follow:

- Go to Settings> Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > ⋮ (on the top right corner) > Reset to default.

- Go to Settings> Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators > either Select automatically and check that it is the correct operator, or Select manually and select the correct service provider.

If this does not help with this issue, I would recommend sending an error report the next time it happens. This will allow our team to identify any potential software issues or trends with your device remotely.

Let me know if these steps help resolve this issue. :)

I turned off wifi calling, and it seems to help this issue...

I have this as a ongoing problem too. It's been back to Samsung who say it's fine. Although when I did microphone check it wasn't great. I'm on the same network as my husband so it's not the signal.

I just purchased a new Samsung S23 Ultra and am having the exact same issue. I can hear the caller perfectly, lots of bars, they cannot hear me, 'I am pixelated'. We try calling back and still they cannot hear me, I sound like a broken computer.  My husband just moved to Samsung 2 weeks ago from an older phone,  Blackberry, and now he has the same problem! Sometimes I can make it better briefly by turning off wifi, but this has become such a problem. Very frustrating.
