For units with IP rating, you should see a prompt if your port is wet. It normally goes away after 2-3 hours and that should tell you that it's safe again.

Hey Chologyst! As long as your charging port is dry, you should be good. If it isn't, try leaving it to dry for a bit in a bed of rice. It totally works!
