Is it okay to charge if the moisture detection notification is gone?

Hello there! mikel_2001,

Thanks for reaching out to us here in order to find out about whether it's okay to charge your beloved Samsung Galaxy A52 if the moisture detection notification is gone. I feel and understand why you are worried for a device that you've take care so much, if my device is facing similar experience, I will be bothered too. But don't fret, I will try to assist you to the best of my abilities.

Before you try out the below recommendations as to your solution, be sure to check if your device's software are updated with the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in the following order. 

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

 

To ensure that there is no issue with the battery, please use Diagnostics in the Samsung Members app.

Check the status of your device with the Samsung Members app Diagnostic tool. You can select the individual categories you would like to diagnose or run a complete diagnostic check. After the diagnostic is completed, you can select the corresponding icon to see the results and status of your device. Follow the steps below to start your diagnostic check. 

Step 1. Run Samsung Members and select Get help on the lower half of the screen.

Step 2. Tap View tests located under Diagnostics.

Step 3. If you would like to run through all of the Diagnostics checks, tap Test all.
 
Step 4. Your Galaxy phone will then run through the checks.
 
Step 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the check.

 

Step 6. When necessary, you may need to manually run or interact with the corresponding function.

Step 7. If preferred, you may check specific Diagnostics (Battery) and tap them directly to begin.

Step 8. For individual diagnostic checks, you can view your results after the check is complete.

 
 
If issue(s) are found, I highly recommend bringing your device to the nearest Authorized Samsung Service Center in your area. Rest assured that your device will undergo an assessment to pinpoint the root cause of the issue. Our Samsung engineers and technicians will guide you and offer solutions to restore it.
