After updating my A70 to Android 11 ONEUI 3.1, my LCD screen dimms after I press the Power button(lock screen) to the lowest brightnest level and will not increase brightness even if I set it to the max. As a work around, I force reboot or soft reset the device every time and it will be back to normal after a few tries. Therefore, I can't lock the phone screen or press the Power button moving forward since it will create the same problem and work around again.

Please advise if you also encounter or having the same issue with your devices.

Have you tried turning off Adaptive Screen Brightness?

Yes, even the double tap to lock settings but it's still the same.

Yup, done all display adjustments in Settings and even factory reset the device once.

Is the double tap to turn on/off screen available in the Motions and gestutes section in Advanced features? That might be a workaround.

Did it work to lock your screen so you don't need to use the power button?

Yes, but you must double tap the empty area on the home screen to lock the phone.
