Sending pictures to google drive

I AM TRYING TO SEND MY PHOTOS TO A GOOGLE DRIVE FOLDER , THE PHONE SHOWS AS IF TRANSFER WAS SUCEESSFULL BUT NO PHOTOS APPEAR IN THE DRIVE

How many photos are we talking about and videos as well. You may have to pay for more space in Google photos as I do. I get 100 gigabytes as a back up. I also transfer my photos to the computer and to a external hard drive that has 2 terrabyte of storage space. Just for my photos and videos I take.
