App updated recently now when emails load they show no images by default, which was never a problem because "show images" would be right there in the email to fix that. Now, "show images" is no where to be found and half my emails are going unread because I can't see them any more. Can anyone help this old fart see his emails again.
Thanks

Yeah same happened to me, I have work emails that contain images I have to see and I can't until I'm on the desktop pc. It is very frustrating and inconvenient

I now don't have access to my emails at all. Whatever happened to Microsoft has stuffed everything up for me. Plus the update. Everything was working well on Monday, didn't have an issue. Now I don't have anything. Even on my desktop too.

Yep, same here. Unable to see images. Email app is now useless in its current format.

Clearly others are having this issue, so it's not just that I'm too dumb to find where it is. Obviously samsung has overlooked this when they updated it.

Hi all, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

To show image attachments within the Email application, please ensure the "Show images" option has been toggled on for the desired email account.

To do so, please navigate to Email (app) > ≡ (Menu) > Settings > Select email account > Show images > Toggle on.

Isn't that a security risk?

I like having the choice to select show images on individual emails vs now having images in every single email visible as soon as I open an email.

Hi @Jaymtee, some spam/scam emails may send images with links embedded.

To manage this, I suggest opening emails from sources you recognise, checking the email address, reporting as spam, and avoid clicking the images.

The loss of the "show images" function makes checking emails a major headache now!! We need that option returned please to allow us to access and decide re which emails to view or otherwise. Why was this option removed at all???
