Check the basics like restarting your phone, checking your charger and port if there is any damage or dust etc. If those are ok, then you may go and check and do this
Verify Fast Charging is enabled: After a software update, sometimes settings can be reset. Go to Settings > Battery > Charging settings and make sure "Fast charging" is toggled on.
Check for a "Moisture Detected" warning: If your phone's charging port has a moisture or debris warning, it will prevent charging to protect the device. Wipe your phone with a soft cloth and let it dry completely before trying to charge again.
If it is a Software-Related issue
• Wipe the cache partition: A corrupted cache can cause all sorts of post-update problems. You can clear the cache partition without deleting your personal data.
1. Turn off your device.
2. Hold the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the Samsung logo appears.
3. Use the volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe cache partition" and press the Power button to select it.
4. Reboot the device.
• Use the Samsung Members app: The Samsung Members app has a built-in diagnostic tool that can check your battery and charging port. Open the app, go to the "Support" tab, and select "Phone diagnostics."
• Try Safe Mode: Booting your phone into Safe Mode can help you determine if a recently installed third-party app is causing the conflict. If fast charging works in Safe Mode, you'll need to uninstall apps you've recently downloaded to find the culprit.
• Factory reset (as a last resort): If none of the above steps work, a factory reset may be necessary. This will erase all your data, so be sure to back up your phone first using Samsung's Smart Switch.
Since you mentioned this happened immediately after the UI7 update, it's possible that a bug in the software is the cause. You should also check other forums for your specific device model (A06) to see if other users are reporting similar issues and if there's a known fix or a future patch.
