Install apps that i have no interest in and also do not want.
Why? For what reason and then again why?
Several settings have changed and I have to go into settings to change back to the way I had.
Can I uninstall update?

Are not these updates supposed to improve the operation of the device? Not slow it down and spam the **bleep** out of me?

My phone now lags.
Is slow at responding.
If I try to open an app which has been on home screen since day one, IT ASKS ME IF I WANT TO UNINSTALL IT.
HOW MESSED UP IS THIS?

Hi @Youcatchaty, that's strange. Apps usually do not download themselves, are you able to check if your internet browsers have many tabs with ads open on them? It is possible accidentally bumping these ads, or clicking links with ads in them can trigger the app to be downloaded. To prevent this, I suggest going through and closing all unneeded tabs, and going into:

Settings > Apps > your browser of choice > Clear cache

Settings > Apps > your browser of choice > Clear data. Please note this will clear any saved passwords from your browser and log you out of any accounts you may be logged into with the browser.

You can also go into settings and scrolling through your app list to uninstall unwanted apps from Settings > Apps

Hope this helps!
