Update?

Should I not expect any update for this device?

I think most of the a12's out there are on android 12. I wonder what made this device not included on the update.

And please do not comment "thank you for your patience" comment answers instead of beating around the bush.

Most Galaxy A12 must be on Android 12 right now. If you know how to operate Smart Switch on your PC, you can update it there. Is your device bought from a plan? I've read that some service providers' OTA updates are bugged. If you don't know how to manually flash these firmware, you can always go to your nearest Samsung Service Center near you and they'll happily assist you with updating your device! You can also utilize this month's Right Care Day for you to have discounts and perks!

If you have the time, try going to an authorized service center nearby you and tell them that your device's software is out of date. They'll happily assist you there!

There's no update showing on smart switch - I know the "how to's" . Will odin flash is the only way? Risk on briking my device though will give me a headache. I don't wanna hook up jtag and what not . I don not have time for that.

If you know how to flash manually using Odin, then it's good. If you're worried about it being bricked, then it's better if you just let the SC do it for you. Is your device brought here? What's your device model (digits) and CSC btw?
