I have been using the Samsung A53 5G for about a year, and so far, it has been the worst update I have done. I moved from the A50 to the A53 5G, and it has not been a pleasant experience.
1. The cracking and bugging out of the entire phone when lightly multitasking with music in the background.
2. Streaming music with Spotify and opening the camera app causes constant crashes and has made my phone restart on several occasions.
3. Cache management is almost non-existent as I have had to factory reset my entire device to erase over 60-70GB of cache that I cannot seem to manually clear.
I never had these issues with my A50 at all, which is most annoying, because why is a 5-year-old phone less buggy in comparison? I have received several software updates since I bought the device, yet all these issues and more still remain.
If anyone has found solutions or experienced similar issues, I'd appreciate any advice. It’s disheartening that an upgrade has led to such a downgrade in user experience.

Two further points. I have had some experience in help desk support. I never know the knowledge level of the user so sometimes I repeat basic information.
1. So I don't know what you mean by I haven't used 5G. Let's check. Go to Settings, Connections, Mobile networks, look at network mode. This allows you to choose. If 5G shows you could use the dropdown to choose 4G. I suggest 4G because 4G gives greater coverage.
2. Your phone connects with the cell tower using a protocol called Access Point Names.. I learnt, only yesterday, that when you get a new device wou should re-confirm those settings. To do so go to Settings and search in full for Access Point Names. Note settings down ON PAPER 100% correctly. e,g. gaps, capitals. Google for this same search adding your provider name. Compare the two, if necessary correcot.
