Vertical Panoramas are a feature I love to use especially on architecture or nature to get the whole view in because your can't capture it all in one shot. It can give a fisheye lens effect which adds it to its unusualness.

Easy to do

Open camera app
Go to more
Choose panorama
Frame your shot
Keep your finger on the shutter button
Slowly raise your camera vertically over your head as far back as you can
Release the shutter button

Helps if you have something to guide you when raising the camera like a ceiling beam. See my shots for what I used as a guide.

Have some fun with it, it can produce some weird pictures and some very cool ones.
