The most disappointing change of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the loss of the S-pen Bluetooth functions, so no more camera remote trigger or Air gestures. >_<
Apparently they think no one use the BT functions much and they decided to forgo the charging coil to save internal space & weight. 🥲
Admittedly I've never ever used Air Gestures but I use the remote camera trigger regularly. Just used it a few times yesterday!
Luckily just discovered that I can use the Camera Controller on my Galaxy Watch 5. Phew!
Took these photos yesterday with the S-pen remote trigger, as I had to put phone on a stick about a metre up in the air to get past the bush. The watch trigger will work but would not be as convenient. And pressing the watch face with the same hand holding the stick will introduce camera shakes, thats when the S-pen remote trigger would excel. Sadly, this feature is gone now in the S25U, hope it may make a come back in future phones.
Those who still have the S pen remote function should take full advantage of it while you can ...
