Galaxy JHello jes7,
In addition to our dear Samsung members' replies, can you check and browse the My Files folder (located at internal memory) and or Storage Media folder?
Home Screen > Samsung (folder) > My Files > Internal Storage > Recordings > Voice Recorder, to see if the files are present in this location. In the Internal Storage menu, scroll down to the dedicated Voice Recorder folder, and check there to see if the files are visible. Lastly, under 'Categories' on the My Files landing page, check 'Audio'.
If not, it's highly probable that the voice recording was not successful due to lack of memory space.
Should you need further assistance and guidance, you may contact us via our Samsung Customer Care support channels below.

Galaxy JHey jes7,
Files may sometimes disappear due to corruption or malware that corrupts files. I'm not sure if that's the case with your device - you would need to bring it to a Samsung Service Center for diagnosis and repair, if needed.
For now though, you can check if your voice notes were backed up to Samsung Cloud. Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Backup and restore > Restore data.
