Display settings

Hi I've had my phones screen set to never go off or 10 mins, usually I have to press the side button to get the screen to go off but lately it is firstly dimming then turning off by itself, I've checked the settings and it's still set for 10 mins, would you know why this is happening and or how to fix it please.

Have you got power saving settings on ?

Go to the gear ⚙️ icon, when you swipe down and type in screen timeout. Scroll down under you see screen timeout and change the time.
