My Note 9 display turn green randomly half years ago, and due to lock down I wasnt able to bring in for service. I have been Samsung supporter for couple of years, and got the Flagship Samsung Note 9 expect to use for a good few years, it is rather truly disappointing, and made me consider if I will even and recommend my family and friend to get a Samsung Product again, I have check on the internet and many chat room reflect same issue, I hope I can get a reply from the community manager to help slove this issue.S1000002.JPGS1000005.JPGS1000004.JPG

My overall experience with Samsung is extreme disappointing, after took the Samsung Community Manager’s advice, I made a reservation with the physical store and took the device to the store this weekend.

Although I brought the phone in Australia, I was very disappointed, for a Global Company clime to be as International Brand, the warranty is not cover worldwide, which is extreme disappointing specially for a Flagship model design for business travel professional such as Note series.

There are tons of people experience the same issue, which I attach the link as below, for all Samsung User, I am planning to upload the video on youtube to share my experience, my recommendation for future customers and business traveler segment, is to go with Apple which with better world-wide warranty service, after many years as a supporter of Samsung, when it comes to choose next phone, I guess I would not be consider Samsung as an option any more in the future, and will be chose Apple for my next Flagship phone.

Link of the greenscreen issue with the same model:

Hi Laura,

You are just putting me in a loop, I think you should take it up to Kogan, with your dealership or ban them from selling your product, the customer did after all purchase your goods in Australia and you are the benificial party, why as a Global Company Samsung Claim to have such a poor warranty program?

I am very disappointed with your response and the way you handle this claim, especially seeing all the users share the same issue, this is clearly on the manufacturer's side, it would be the last Samsung device me and my family ever purchase, thank you for turning your customer away.

Best Regards

Good morning, I am sorry to hear that. As Kogan isn't an official Australian Samsung retailer, you'll need to discuss this further with their support team as the information you've provided reveals your device is from Hong Kong.

Alternatively, if you would like to proceed with a repair from our service centres, book an appointment and head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.
