Same issue that just happened overnight. I woke up to having the green line
Phone was never dropped. Expensive phone, unexpected problem.

Same here and until now it became worst. At first it started only 1 green line but now its 3 different color lines on my screen. I went to the nearest service center to consult my problem but they just advised me to get an lcd replacement which is so expensive or either trade in my phone to the latest S23 thats way more expensive than having a screen replacement 😔 i hope there's another way to fix this without spending too much money

Hello Zero13.

Unfortunately none, there are ways to make your phone work again but nothing for free.

Had the same issue, so as my friend who had the same exact model and date of purchase. You can have it repaired in a Samsung service center but the price is costly, almost equivalent to a price of mid range phones, they will not shoulder the cost and will just blame it on you that maybe your phone fell etc.

I have reached out to the Samsung Support team and also the CEO through email. Samsung Support said they'll get back to me, it's been 6months now and still no response.

Many articles and communities posted the same green line issue with Samsung, mostly happening with their not so new, not so old high end models. They will not shoulder the cost.

I have now switch to a different brand and will never go back to Samsung again.
