Green/Pink/White Vertical Lines (Solved)

Anyone went to repair their screen because of the vertical line appearing on screen? Will the lines reoccurs and how much is the repair cost?

Currently considering between repairing or changing of phone.

Its probably tactically easier to get the online cso to agree on the cause of the problem... my experience with the service centre is also the same.. they will deny everything as thats their standard protocol... not only samsung, apple also the same...

Yea the lines appeared after the update starting with 1 but increasing till 6 currently which affects the visibility. May I know how u contacted samsung and which service centre u went? Also how long does the checking and repair takes? I've seen some post saying that the service person gave a repairing price without checking the phone.

Hi all, i notice that the problems happened to all different type of phones. JUST A NOTE: mine is Galaxy S20+. What i have done is that i went online to chat with the CSO. So, i presented my case and they acknowledged that it could be due to the system upgrade and they gave me a booking reference number. It took 3 days when my appointment is set up at Bedok Mall. I left my phone with them to check and i got it repaired within the same week. Zero cost. It happened due to the system upgrade from one or two of the version. But if the line already appeared and there are multiple newer upgrades after that then it may give Samsung excuse not to repair it..

Ah so your phone is a S series. I know samsung had acknowledge the problem for S20 and seen multiple post of users getting free replacement but I have not seen any post of Note series getting free replacement despite them also contacting the support. But my main concern is about whether the lines would reappear after the repair since the lines are still increasing currently.

pink line appeared on my note20 ultra yesterday after the software update! I even procrastinated updating but as it kept reminding me to update I did it. Really regret updating! now the phone is ruined and I googled and saw this thread.
