Galaxy NoteI've had a similar issue with some of the other buttons whilst in calls, one thing I could suggest is simply holding the phone a bit away from the side of your face until the screen turns off, then continue using it normally? I don't have a GalaxyNote 20 myself, but the screen should time out after a short while in a call. Hopefully that helps!

Galaxy NoteHi @carporium, thanks for reaching out. Our phones have a censor that will turn the screen black when covered. This is usually towards the top of the screen.
You can test this by using your hand to cover the top half of the screen while in call. The screen should turn black when covered and revert to normal when you remove your palm from the screen.
While in call, and holding the phone to your ear, it should do this to block your cheek from touching the screen.
If this function is not working, I suggest heading into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.
