Mine.. Well..

I really thought I was specific here

I was shocked really hahaha. It used to work. Back then it felt like it was an achievement but now it's..... I might end up deleting this quick command and the Bixby routine I made to automate this or edit a contact name just to make it work like it used to *before* the really nice and useful update.

I have specified the number but it went on to give me a list of other numbers in my contacts with 222s in it. I used quotation marks to show it doesn't need to add any other number, but that made no difference.

The phone has been reset a lot of times already.

Well maybe I can uninstall all updates to Bixby.
OK that didn't work. Now it's uglier than ever.

I hope you have a better story.

There are two numbers with the one you're sending a message, a quick edit to the name will probably solve that so that it'll not ask from those 214 or 222 numbers.

I actually like the new update, it's more fluent and faster now, design is coherent with One UI. Accent recognition still needs more improvement though. I'm using it for the past days more than Google Assistant.1626190326972.png

Like I said, it used to work. This is not new.

Now I have to edit contacts because of the update. I like the looks - how it's not taking up the whole screen anymore, but not this.

Do you think these are all the same as well?

Edit: the link takes you to my first post on Samsung members about Bixby before the update so I don't know why it gives such warning.

Here are the photos that show this used to work without it being confused of my contacts because the one that I want it to send a message to has ~Gl in the end to differentiate it from the ~Sm.

You don't have Samsung with Bixby?

I'm just nitpicky but it will pass soon.

I've watched videos and have read articles about Bixby and routines even before I had a newer galaxy device and I've been using it a lot since the day I bought my phone. I wish it can remember my option so it wouldn't have to ask me the same question every time the routine triggers.

Hey there, Ellis! As with your concern. I would have to agree with your fellow member, that you'd need to just rename the ones near the words "bal in", and or those with almost the same number as with the Balance Inquiry as you claim to be that Bixby also associates it to be the Balance Inquiry numbers as well. You may either set the Balance Inquiry name to "GLOBE BCheck" or "SMART BCheck",  since it looks like you have 2 sim cards inserted and Bixby suggests the balance inquiry from both networks.

Give it a try first, then observe for a week if you've been scheduling it as a weekly routine for Bixby. Hit us up should the tips work. 😉

I myself see that as a workaround. I've even mentioned that on my original post. I just don't like the idea of it. You see, it was working flawlessly without me having to rename anything in my contacts. Then this update came. It's so upsetting.

The new looks is nice but it ruined the feature that was working flawlessly.
