Keyboard issue.

I just installed the software upgrade for my Samsung Ultra Note 20. Now the keyboard does not automatically appear when you point to the text input message box. Instead I now have to select the keyboard and then it becomes a floating keyboard. I try to adjust and reset in the settings section to no avail. It's rather annoying. Anyone knows how to resolve this?

When I want to send a message e.g WhatsApp I will start to type in the input box. Now the keyboard does not appear when I try to type. Instead a tiny menu comes on and I have to select the keyboard. Then instead of appearing at the bottom, the keyboard appears in the middle of the screen. That was the annoying issue for me. However, a friend told me she also encountered the issue but that is only when she use the pen. If you don't use the pen but just your fingers then there is no issue. Anyway I can live with using fingers for input. Thank you for your attention.

Hi, so it only happens when u pull out the S Pen?

First instance, touch the input box with the finger. The keyboard appears as per normal. Then you can use the pen for input after that if you wish. It's just when you want the keyboard to auto appear touch the input box with your finger in the first instance.

Yes.it happened after the recent software update. Previously even when I use the pen it doesn't happen.

Probably u can try the Smart Tutor to allow the Samsung technician to remotely access ur phone screen and help u further?
