Note 20 ultra Vertical Green Line

Does anyone facing this issue?

 out of sudden today when I turn on my phone there Is a thin vertical line in the middle of my display

Hi all, my Note20 Ultra this afternoon suddenly has this green line as well! I will see how the Samsung react in this matter, and decide whether is it worth to continue to purchase/ support their product!!

Just sent my Note 20 Ultra to service with this problem. They will replace the screen foc. Only need to pay for the labour $54. So far Samsung taking in Note 20 and S20 series according to the staff.

Hi, can u provide more info, at which service centre and is your phone still under warranty?

We went to Westgate. The phone was already out of warranty.

Thanks for the helpful info. Just left westgate service centre. Staff approached me and told me about the $54 labour charge while screen is FOC. What caught my attention is he he told me need to backup phone and leave with them for 2 weeks but problem is he claimed the screen is FOC because Samsung is giving a promotion until Dec'23. I asked why call it a promotion knowing is Samsung hardware fault due to OS upgrade. I need to travel and only back in Sg next Jan'24, so I asked if I can come back in Jan'24 instead. He said cannot because it is a promotion. So, I asked for manager, and turns out manager said no issue coming back Jan'24 and did not mention anything about the 'promotion' thingy.  So I guess the staff is the innocent party acting on instructions by saying it is Samsung promotion while it is not. Just stand firm knowing is Samsung hardware fault due to OS upgrade.

After phone update green line has come on display when went to service center then lady sitting at reception said phone display will have to be changed when i said samsung sport has announced for free replacement she said we will not Because we are having billing issue with Samsung, you can do another serviceGo to the center, talked to the customer care, then they gave the address of another service center, now we are wandering

Hi, i didnt knw this issue already happen 1 yr ago, i just spoken to senior manager but still the same, need to pay for service fee! So disappointing when the problem is not cause by us since all experience the same issue..ghosh..not going to get samsung phone anymore..sighzz

Yes, the same happened to me after a few days of software updates on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra.
