Note Security Patch Update

Hi. Is it normal to have no security patch update for my note 20 ultra 5g for the month of December 2021 since my phone was returned to me from samsung service center? They reprogrammed my phone after changing its screen and battery. Upon checking, security patch for this month was already released around 2 weeks ago. 

Just having some of peace of mind when my phone is up to date. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Releasing of security patches varies country by country, some countries will have it earlier while some will have it at a later date. Another is if your phone is postpaid or openline, openline receive updates the moment it is available here in PH while postpaid will depend on the carrier when to release it even tho its already available for openline units.

Let's just wait for the security update to become available for your device, since we have no choice but to wait 😆

Depende po sa service center. Iba2x kse pricing nla. Checked their pricing online, nasa 12k more, pero dito sa service center samin, nasa 18,500 yung screen lang. Then when in regards naman po sa battery di ko na natanong. Wla kse ako my binayadan. Although beyond na sa warranty period, 1 yr and 1 month to be exact, luckily sinagot po ni samsung yung bayad kse nakita nman sa loob na wla nman pong damage maliban dun sa screen. Pina approved lng ng service center dto samin. Tpos cla na rin nag change ng battery free of charge.

I see.. thank you so much for the reply. 🙂 Gosh, 18,500 for the screen only🤯 Ang mahal! 😲 Nahulog ba Yung phone sis? I'm getting paranoid about what case I should use to protect the screen.

Nope. I do really care for my things. Especially, my phone. No scratches and dents on the back and front. Hnd din nahulog or nadaganan. Since the 1st day i bought my phone, nka hard case na tlaga sya tpos yung sa screen, I'm using tmax tempered glass. Mas mura sya sa Whitestone na brand. Tpos ok yung quality. Hindi naaapektuhan yung in display fingerprint scanner if perfectly installed yung tempered glass. You can search on YouTube for some tutorials. I hope this can help you.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out🙂 may I ask what brand is your hard case? I bought Supcase unicorn Beetle, I was set on getting Spigen slim armor but unfortunately it's out of stock everywhere. Sis, why did you have the screen changed if Hindi Nahulog? Was it a factory defect? My battery is bothering me, I barely use my phone, I don't know if I need to factory reset this, I'm even sure that will help or make it worse ☹️
