Hi, I m using Samsung Note 9 for about a year and had facing this issue since half year ago.

When I connect Wi-Fi at my home, the Wi-Fi will dead when I using certain specific apps or websites.

The issue is gone if I using my 4g data or using a VPN while connected to Wi-Fi.

Me and my mom using the Samsung brand phone where she also experienced the same problem while the other family member using other brands of phone doesn't face this issue. Moreover, this issue only happens to my home Internet which mean I can access all apps/ websites normally if using other Wi-Fi.

Since the other phone and laptops still can access to all apps and websites normally, so it is sure not the ISP problem.

I had tried all the suggestion I can get on every forum/ post and none of it solve the issue.

I had my Note 9 upgraded to latest and tried clear cache and etc. Nothing is working.

Any solution?

Sounds like it could be a problem with the home WiFi.

Have you tried resetting that?

Hi @silas544, thanks for reaching out.

I suggest resetting network settings to see if this resolves the issue. Please note that doing this will unpair all previously linked Bluetooth devices and forget your Wi-Fi connections.

Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings > RESET NETWORK SETTINGS.

If the issue persists, I suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.
