A Power User's Perspective on the S22 Ultra and One UI 6 Update

I'm an S22 Ultra user and, like many, I'm really frustrated with the One UI 6.0 launch in Australia.

We're Android users, power users, and these things matter to us. When I pay a premium for a device, I expect premium performance in return. I was actually planning to upgrade to the S24 Ultra this year, but not anymore. 

What's made things worse is the lack of clear communication from the company, and them blaming the service providers. I find it both frustrating and somewhat insulting to see mid-range devices gettimg the latest update before ours.

Going from what I seen in JBHIFI Galaxy S24 Ultra is the only one that comes with WiFi 7. Others are WiFi 6 only. Pretty poor by Samsung

To support WIFI 7 you need a router and a provider willing to match the speed. It's like having 5G in 2010, pretty useless mate.

Well then why have WiFi 7 on the S24 Ultra only? Apples have Wifi7 support. Wifi7 support now ain't useless. Your phone will just fall back to wifi6 or 5 till wifi7 routers come out

Probably to justify the price difference, or something has to do with the design, but again we bearly see enough WIFI 6 around the world so not a biggy.

According to the info, Galaxy S24’s Galaxy AI features will be rolled out to Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra. It doesn’t mean that the Galaxy S22 and S21 series are excluded, however, they just don’t get mentioned
