Alternate characters such as questions mark or exclamation mark or command etc

Anyone knows how to turn on the alternate characters on the keyboard without pressing the alternate characters button to access the need to use the alternate characters. It usually have those characters on the keyboard. It's very inconvenient each time I want to enter the question mark or command or other alternate characters because I need to access the alternate characters with number button. Please who could guide me how to use samsung keyboard just like in samsung galaxy s20 ultra 5g

Don't know why but couldn't turn it on cos that option are grey out. It's not accessible?

Hi @crwky, are you able to find it via the following pathway? 

Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard settings > Layout > Toggle on alternative characters

No I didn't. The alternative option area are grey out. Couldn't turn on the alternative characters

That's strange. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further. 

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Ok just did send in an error report now. Hopefully it will help resolve my problem
