Galaxy SMy Recent Experience with Samsung India. I have ordered S23 Ultra 512GB(Rs 89,999) and they have sent me confirmation for the order without any details on the storage.
This brought me suspicion and I called customer care to check the storage of the phone for which the order had been placed. I was amused to hear the order was confirmed for a 256 GB model(Rs 84,999). For the first time, they asked me to cancel it and reorder and the same story repeats for the second time. The customer care keeps saying I ordered a 256 GB model. In contrast, the price is differentiated for both the storages and they have free cancellation only until 2 hours after the order is placed and will refund the amounts only after 7-10 business days blocking huge amounts of money with them
I am not sure why a global brand Samsung Electronics is resorting to such tactics, misleading and cheating customers on their websites, is something to ponder upon. Glad I took the screenshots of the checkout which clearly shows I have selected 512 GB models only and that they have sent an email for order confirmation without the storage mentioned
Folks beware of such scams and don't purchase from Samsung and have your huge sums blocked with them and get the wrong models in delivery. If you have such presales then imagine your plight after sales in going around Samsung for their mistakes
