Several months ago my S9 developed a blue/green screen.

After an update, the blue/green issue was resolved. But after several weeks it returned. The most recent update on 1st March did not fix the problem. I did a factory reset which did nothing. I have gone back to using my S7 while I wait for  resolution to this problem.

I would really like to use my S9 but there needs to be another update to fix the problem. Are there any plans for this?

Hi RaeFar, that's definitely odd. Are you able to post a photo or screenshot of your S9 screen?

The camera doesn't pick up the green tinge. Although the screen is green, the camera doesn't sow it.
In order to use the phone I have to turn off adaptive display and turn the brightness up to nearly full.

Hi RaeFar, if the screenshot is not showing the discolouration, it is possible that the issue is with the physical screen. I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre so that we can take a look into this. Please back up your data and bring your proof of purchase before heading instore.

Same here with Note 10+. Apparently also happening on new S20 - time to switch allegiance.

@RaeFar, that's so strange I don't think an update would fix the issue. Did you buy the S9 brand new or has it been repaired through a non authorised dealer.

I bought the phone brand new. It has worked perfectly until this happened.
After the update the screen went back to normal but only lasted for a few weeks.

Hi Rae, is it something that occurs only at certain conditions? AMOLED screens can appear slightly tinted on low brightness conditions. If it continues, I would recommend booking it in for a service to get a proper look at it, just in case. Remember to do your backups first!
