I've had my s22 Ultra for probably a month and a half now and it's getting extremely hot (almost too hot to put to your cheek), and battery drain  is a severe issue also.

I've noticed that it does this regardless of what I'm actually doing on the phone. Like, you can take it off a full charge and just sit there browsing the web and watch the battery trickle away...

This shouldn't be happening to a brand new phone, and all Samsung did was make me change my 5G over to 4G and turn on airplane mode!

Once again today S22 Ultra 256gb has overheated causing to stop work losing $... This is the worst phone ever used and only one ever had an overheating problem even though S21 Ultra 5g and Note 10 plus under exactly same conditions.. If Samsung say in direct sunlight again that is a joke as in air-conditioned car & same holder

Once again this week (was 2-3 weeks apart) S22 Ultra overheated.. Samsung keep saying outside environmental issues causing along with charging while gps running.. The outside environment issues referred to are in car holder in air conditioned vehicle using Samsung cable.. And S22 Ultra worked in same environment, same car, same conditions for 6 months without any overheating.. Looks like need to lodge claim with Ombudsman as this device is now not fit for purpose Screenshot_20230112_142546_Microsoft Launcher.jpgScreenshot_20230112_142600_Microsoft Launcher.jpg

Once again today 15th S22 Ultra overheated (after just 2 hrs morning use) pop up said closed 35 apps which is interesting as use same 5 each day.. This is not suitable for purpose as a phone. Samsung say don't charge while using gps (which no other phone owned had an issue besides running battery out faster) Screenshot_20230115_114040_Microsoft Launcher.jpgScreenshot_20230115_114055_Microsoft Launcher.jpg

This is disgusting behaviour, I've tried sending error reports, speaking to the chat team etc, but nothing. It's so hot right now whilst typing this that I cannot even physically hold it. Over $2,000 I paid for the phone, it shouldn't be this way.
Samsung needs to pull their finger out, it's obviously not just me experiencing this.

Hello @KittyKelly
I am sorry that you are having issues with your phone.
Since you have already sent in an error report I suggest you try some of the solution listed below:

!. Remove all active apps.
2. Delete cache.
3. Remove phone cover/case.
4. Make sure you don’t have any malware running in the background (I suggest using a security app like AVG Antivirus).
5. Clean up any junk files you have.
6. Delete apps that you don’t use regularly.

Kind regards,

This is absolutely ridiculous and I'm going to the Fair Trading Act and media with this. You pay almost $2,000 for a phone and it shouldn't be doing this, but it seems a lot of people's are .
These ridiculous logs and settings etc do nothing for any of us, and Samsung (a multi million dollar company) does absolutely nothing but take oue money and run.
