I have tried this from the user manual:

Creating folders
Create folders and gather similar apps to quickly access and launch apps.
On the Home screen or the Apps screen, tap and hold an app, and then drag it over another app.
A new folder containing the selected apps will be created. Tap Folder name and enter a
folder name.

This works fine on my Android mobile but on this Tab it just moves the Apps around.

There are pre installed folders on the screen, and I can move apps into them.

Confused, Rico from Australia.

Have you tried this?

Pressing and holding one app until their little menu pops up > pressing select > selecting the apps you want in a folder > and then at the top of the screen, pressing create folder

No, the way that the user manual suggested is perfectly valid, the software on your device may just have a bug in it. 😁

That's really helpful, and it worked fine.

Does that mean that the user manual is wrong?

thank you very much. Rico Australia
