What would be the reason why does the casing of galaxy phones are breaking? Is it the glue? This is s21 ultra. My s9 had the same problem.

If the battery isn't swollen, Then that's probably the adhesive that weakens over time as our phones get hot. I recommend you bring it to a service center and have it checked before it gets worse.

Same problem with my previous S20U. Weak glue. My other 5 years old flagship phone didn't have any issues despite having a constant heat due to virtual/parallel app space and game guardian.

Though you can buy a custom adhesive glue online and glue it yourself. Make sure that you clean the old glue using alchol or soften it using heat gun. Do this if you're no longer on your warranty and want to save money.

Probably if you already used your phone underwater then had a heat contact with the phone (due to the ergonomic changes of the weather, may one of the factor) it may be one of the reason why the adhesive of the phone loose...

It happened to me and I got my back cover changed, the biggest cons is that it will never be water resistant anymore. 🥲
