Hello,

I found out how to back up my S21 Ultra 5G through smart switch but don’t want it as I was just experimenting but I don’t know how to delete that backup.  If I can delete it would someone be kind enough to tell me where and how I can delete it.  Also if I do delete it will I still have everything on my phone as it was before the backup.  I also read that by backing up through smart switch it uses a lot of gigabyte.  Is this also true?

Any instructions/advice would be much appreciated.

You need to find out where the backup is stored. Start by Googling "where is my samsung smartswitch backup stored" as there are several places. Then literally Google your question as Google replies will tend to give better/a variety of answers to review.

Next, believe me, do this. Go to Settings, scroll to Backups, and do both Samsung and Google backups. These could be a lifesaver if things go wrong.

Then back to your Google answers on how to delete your Smartswitch backup.

Check all is working. If yes, now Google "samsung how to delete backups from Backup in Settings." Although personally I think you are insane if you do this. So many sad stories of crashes, phone content is deleted if your phone is sent for service, etc. Instead set automatic backup. You can even recover the data on a different phone if your current phone is lost or destroyed.

EXCELLENT. Thanks a million. Did the backup as you suggested and won't bother with the smart switch.
