Hi SamsungTina,

This is a matter of accessibility for people with disabilities. It would be good to see Samsung prioritise this and provide feedback on the progress of design, testing, and roll out. These queries were made some time ago, and the issue remains.

Please also note that there is no cure for Dyslexia. It is a life long disability and it greatly impacts people.

If no satisfactory response by Samsung is given, this issue may need to be escalated.

Thank you,

Catherine

Can the process to allow Samsung users to install fonts like Huawei does?

Hi @Lannon, to see this, go into Settings > Display > Font size and style > Font style > tap '+ Download fonts'. Please note that there are paid and free options here. You can also change the font sizes from Font size and style.

I agree whole heartedly. The OpenDyslexic font should be available on all devices. There are so many people that suffer from dyslexia, it would really help.

Hi I'm a dyslexic too and I just went through the whole list of fonts available to my phone.  Not one of them is dyslexia friendly.  Got to say that's really disappointing.  Unless this changes soon there's no way I'll even buy anymore Samsung products.

Thank you for your feedback, @Emmylva. We have raised this interest internally. Please note however, we cannot always implement customer suggestions due to various reasons and will not be able to provide an update on whether we are going to be implementing suggestions. We hope you understand.

If you have any additional feedback you would like to provide, please let us know.

I would go so far as to suggest it is discriminatory to not provide at least one font that assists people with dyslexia.

I hope Samsung begin to take accessibility for people with disabilities seriously soon.

Hi @Nphroper69, thanks for reaching out. There isn't any specific font for dyslexia, however you can go into settings and change the font/size or purchase different fonts.

To see this, go into Settings > Display > Font size and style > Font style > tap '+ Download fonts'. Please note that there are paid and free options here. You can also change the font sizes from Font size and style.

Hi there SamsungLaura,

Just so you know, increasing the font size does not improve accessibility for people with Dyslexia. It is a similar suggestion to telling a blind person to increase the font size.

Thank you,

Catherine
