eSIM and Samsung Messages

Hi There,

 

I've just moved to an eSIM on my s21. All went smooth and I added a physical sim to my phone to use the dual sims.

The issue I am facing is that the my existing conversations in Messages are all continuing with the physical sim, despite choosing the eSIM as my default sim for calls, messages and data in the 'sim settings' area. 

Outgoing calls are working just fine and using the eSIM as the default.

Any ideas.

Hi Mate
Once you moved to eSIM you need to restart your mobile and it will fix everything. Same happaned to me.

Lodging these reports if issues arise allows our Samsung Members team to review diagnostic data sent through. It is best to submit this within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring.

Samsung Members (application) > Get help > Error reports
