Dear Samsung Support Team,
A request the addition of native voicemail functionality within the Samsung Phone app. While Samsung devices offer an exceptional user experience across many functions, the absence of integrated voicemail access within the Phone app can be a noticeable gap—especially for users who rely heavily on voicemail for both personal and professional communication.
Specifically, it would be beneficial to have:
A dedicated “Voicemail” tab within the Phone app interface
Visual voicemail support with transcription (where supported by carrier)
The ability to manage voicemails directly (play, delete, save, or share)
Notification badges for new voicemails
Compatibility with major carriers in Australia and support for conditional call forwarding setup within the app
Integrating voicemail in this way would align Samsung devices more closely with user expectations and the functionality offered by other smartphone manufacturers, streamlining the communications experience and reducing the need for third-party apps.
Thank you for considering this enhancement. I look forward to seeing continued improvements to an already outstanding mobile platform.

I recommend going to:
* Samsung Members > Support > Send feedback
* Then submitting this directly
More requests like this could help push it up the roadmap - although the main challenge is VMM is strictly a carrier-managed service (not an OS-level function) due to regional regulatory requirements, along with each carrier using their own APIs

I can't speak on what commercial decisions Samsung made with Visual Voicemail (what Apple + Google use), but I know Googles implementation is still dependant on carrier support as a fallback for some regions and Apple secured a wrath of HW / SW / Carrier deals for their iPhones
