When I connect the AKG earphones included in the box with my phone, it shows up as a charging/data transfer device without any audio coming through. Sometimes, it doesn't show up at all, sometimes it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting rapidly, and then at other times the audio does work but there is a loud glitchy tone every 10 to 15 seconds. I've connected the earphones to my computer and they work completely fine there, so they shouldn't be the issue. The phone's USB-C port is also completely fine as it has no problems charging. I've also checked that 'Disable USB audio routing' is off in the developer options. I think this started after a firmware update for the earphones. They still partially worked at that time, but would disconnect every 30 seconds and another firmware update would come up. Now I can't even get the firmware notification to pop up. I'm guessing the issue may be related to the firmware, as the headphones seem to work fine on my pc, and my phone port also seems fine.

weird. ive heard of something similar but was fixed with an update and fw update. Have you tried sending an error report? try go to Samsung members > get help > error report. They can analyse what's happened with usb c port.

Hi @Ahnaf_T, that's strange. Can you try go into your device Settings > Apps > Samsung USB-C headset > Storage > Clear data?

This will reset the app that reads your USB port and hopefully resolve the issue.

Let me know how it goes! :)

There is no 'Samsung USB-C' opcional in apps in my S20+.
