Can someone please help with S24 push notifications. I've had this phone since February 2024 and there is one particular app (DMSS) which is a security camera app that I'm having issues with.

I've tried everything but totally resetting the phone. My issue is I get push notifications from the DMSS app once I log out or delete app and reinstall or clear data (which pretty much acts as deleting and reinstalling). This lasts for around 24 hours, next day it stops sending notifications until I do one of these processes again. So basically everyday I need to log out and log back in for the app to send push notifications.

I have been in contact with DMSS app developers and they have tried everything but the problem is the notification worked fine with my S22 and still working perfectly with all İOS devices at home.

Been in touch with Samsung, they have also asked me to follow some procedures to clear bugs in the phone which also did not work!

Off course my phone and the app is up to date with latest software so all thinkable troubleshooting has all been done, just off chance if someone can offer anything else that I haven't done.

DMSS app developers have also told me that other people who have the S24 are also experiencing this same issue.

Not sure if Samsung is aware of this issue but I still not convinced if it's a Samsung or DMSS problem.

İf anyone has this same issue, would love to hear about it and if anyone has a solution, would greatly appreciate it.

Hey there. Same issue here on 2X S24 Ultras. Previous S22 Ultras had no issues. Now when doorbell rings - sometimes one phone gets a notification (once only - not continuous ringing), other phone - nothing. Very frustrating.

Yeah - me too. Over the years I've had a few issues like this with the DMSS software. Unfortunately, it usually requires an App Update from the Developer to fix...

Yes and I thought the last update would do the trick as they've noted a lot of "bug fixing" but unfortunately still the same!1714475001728.jpg

I also have this exact same issue.  Odd time I will get a push notification coming through.  It's frustrating for sure.  Have you got yours sorted out yet?

No not yet! Same issue stiil since I got this phone in February 2024. There has been numerous DMSS updates since but none has been able to fix the issue. I'm always on the lookout for new updates in hope that the problem will get fixed! 🙏

Not sure but I had a S22 previously and never had this issue. The people that installed the security system said that I might have to ugrade my hard drive which is only 3 years old so that doesn't make sense too! As it stands, everyday I have to log out of the DMSS app and log back in to work for another day! Frustrating!!
