so I went to the service center and was told that I will need to leave my phone and get it fixed within 2 weeks before I can have it back. Problem is I dont have a backup phone - super hassle na nga, pricey pa (from 11-12k) to repair for 1 freaking line 😫😤 most of my daily activities is in the phone so I cant afford not to have one 🙄
I just wish Samsung can at least provide a backup phone whilst it's being fixed since magbabayad naman for repair. I even ask - is getting an insurance before the repair will it help to lessen the fee?
A: No.. you have to get if fixed first then you can get an insurance/warranty --
Like what!!!???!! so I said "not worth it" anyway.
so for now I will have to deal with this annoying line, while thinking of switching to another brand 🧐🤔

just an FYI: the green line issue only appeared after a system update back in July😤

Hello IAmMaria,

Thanks for letting us know your experience with the recent updates on your beloved Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra having issues with the green line on screen as well as your subsequent experience with the service center. I feel and understand your circumstance having no back up phone and we're noting that there should be an available loan phone unit to be given to you while your device is getting fixed.

Service center missed out that the insurance you're been asking for was similar to the Samsung Care+, which is a worry-free beyond the standard warranty, with complete protection for all accidental breakage and breakdown for up to 2 years. And to find out more about this, you may click the link below.

In the meantime, you can help us identify the root cause of the issue by submitting an error report through Samsung Members app as follows:

Step 1. Launch the Samsung Members app, and then tap the Support icon for more options.

Step 2. Scroll and select Error reports.

Step 3. Choose a category of your concern. Select "Display".

Step 4. Choose the frequency of the issue you are experiencing. Enter issue details or attach a video or screenshot. Then press Send icons to complete the report.

Thanks for acknowledging my concern. I've done all this - and getting the same answers. im already disappointed of how I was treated in the service center I went to - it's like im left with no other option but a dead end. still i find that the pricing is too much for such repair.
