Has the Samsung s20 green screen of death been solved yet?

My phone has been experiencing intermittent green screen of death. Anyone here who has a fix for tgis issue?

Nangyari rin sa akin today 😑 sobrang disappointing dahil yung s8 ko na 2017 ko pa binili buhay pa rin hanggang ngayon samantalang yung s20 Ultra ganito na kaagad. Hays 😭

Happened to me just yesterday. It returned to normal after few minutes but device was so hot! But this morning it did not recovered. Brought it to SM megamall service center hoping for the Samsung head office to consider repairing it for free because I did not do anything extreme with my device since we are all stuck inside our homes but still this isssue happens. 😞😭 flagship is flagship.

 

Seems like their software update because the lady rep asked me if i am on latest software update and i said yes. But i still suspect this is a bad batch on hardware side.

Hi po. Nangyari po yan now sa cp ko (s20plus) ask ko lang po if ano po update sa phone nyo? Para may idea po now before ko dalhin sa service center po. Thank you

It was repaired free of charge. Screen and battery were replaced. But the CS needs to check the unit first - though looks like they are already aware of this unfortunate thing. Though you first need to bring it to CS in any authorised samsung repair shops and they will assess if that can be repaired free of charge. I got no warranty after the repair.

Yes po balak nga po dalhin sa CS by this week. Kaso last year pa po tapos warranty ng phone ko. Sana naman po free pa din po pagrepair nila dahil maingat po ako sa phone sure po ako na wala any damage ako nagawa aa phone bigla nalang po nagkaissue. Thank you

Mine as well.. out of warranty na but still managed to get it repaired for free.. just let CS assess :)

I have a Z Flip 4, purchased September '22 from Harvey Norman in NSW Australia. I dropped the phone at 6 wks old, damaged hinge and sought a fix from HN. They had a tech dept local then. Tech took 7 wks to repair it, full screen/hinge replacement. He used non O.E. part. I paid full repair cost, took responsibility.  That screen has died slowly since about 3 mnths old, first pixels, then flickering, black screens, I rebooted multi times,  always came back. About 3 weeks ago now, still under 12 mnths old since replacement, got Green Screen. HN deny all responsibility, Tecworks say t non-O.E. screen, no Samsung cover and HN tried parts supplier, they focussed on two small frame indents (from HN screen repair or original drop, phone not damaged since at all) to deny cover, my fault again. Bought 2 years of Asurion cover, no dice there, non O.E. screen again. I have a Z Flip 4, that I have used for approximately 11 mnths only, given time out and it is a bin toss. Can Samsung offer me any help?
