b. The app needs more resources than what your phone can handle. Check unnecessary apps that run in the background. Whatever isn't important that gets prioritized in memory handling, delete it. System apps are important. DON'T delete them or put them to sleep.
c. Your internet or data connection **bleep**. Well you know what to do here.

First make sure your phone doesn't get hot while playing. Heat is bad for phones and may affect gaming.
I'd recommend the app 'Game Plugins' on Galaxy Store. It has options for adjusting Graphics Quality, Frame Rate and to monitor Temperature, CPU usage and other game improvement features.
