How can I get rid of the Samsung bloatware on S24?

One of my family member recently purchased S24. Like the hardware, but I am not sure why do you install so much Samsung bloatware! The person is completely confused and hates the phone just because of the Samsung bloatware. All the Samsung apps are just copies of Google apps which completely confuse the non IT users, because they want to use Google apps they are used to.

1. How can I get rid of all every Samsung application on the phone? Most of your copies of Google apps are poor and I simply do not want to use it.
2. How can I switch to Google Photo app in Camera app? I do not want to your your Samsung Gallery. I use Google Photo app because it is integrated well with my Google account. Your Samsung Gallery does not offer anything I want. It only confuses me as you constantly pushing login to your Samsung Cloud which I don't want. I will never give my data to Samsung!!!
3. How can I remove the Samsung login menu entry at the top. Sorry, but your Samsung Cloud is not the most important on my Phone. I don't want to have data in your very bad cloud solution.

• The phone is decent hardware but the software is absolutely the worst, making the users confused (based on experience of members of my family). The duplicity your create is absolutely unnecessary!
•  Samsung cloud will never offer what Google cloud offers, because you and Google have completely different way of making money. Google has a full cloud solution and I don't see a reason why would anyone who has Google account want to use your lame Samsung Cloud solution which does not offer anything superior. Your cloud setting on the phone only makes things worst and confusing.
• Stop thinking that your Cloud is useful to users. I understand that you would like to compete with Google, but you are not there and most likely never will be.  It might be a good secondary backup solution to users who do not use Google, but you should not push it if people wants to use Google. People who use Google will never use your ***!
• You will never be defined as a brand like Apple if you continue pushing your crappy applications which just confuse users!
• Let us to uninstall your *** from the phone that we can enjoy decent hardware. You are not a software company and most likely never will be, judging from what you do with your phone and make life of your customers inherently difficult.

I would never purchased your phone, not because of the hardware, but because of what you do with the software. I want to use Google apps and not be asked every second to login to Samsung cloud.

Stop pretending you are a Cloud (software) company. You are not and most likely never will be! That is clear from the fact that your software only makes the life of users worst. Not easier.

Each phone manufacturer has its own set of policies. All Samsung devices come pre-installed with ecosystem applications, and removing them can be challenging without installing custom firmware. While Samsung sets its apps as the default options, it does not restrict users from utilizing other stock Android applications, unlike some other companies. Regarding
Samsung Cloud, users have the option to refrain from storing data on the cloud by adjusting in the account settings. As a Samsung user myself, I have never encountered mandatory Samsung Cloud logins for every application (including Google apps), as you have mentioned.

For Samsung apps that you're not going to use, if they can not be uninstalled, you can disable them.

Google stopped making their camera app available to non Google devices some years ago.
Your only option here is to sideload Gcam, and good luck with that, as you'll lose many features that samsungs cameras offer when using the Samsung camera app and the expert raw companion app.
Also, Gcam isn't perfect, as it's just AOSP code recompiled to "work" on Galaxy devices (and others).

Regarding the Samsung login you mentioned, do you mean the Samsung account login?
No one is forcing you to use Samsung Cloud, so I'm not sure what the issue is here 🤷

Lastly, the reason Samsung phones come with some apps doubled up is due to licensing agreements with Google.

While I can understand where you are coming from with some of these comments, there are some very strong statements there that are totally misplaced. Clearly, you don't understand the Samsung ecosystem and why one would want to use Samsung apps over Google apps. Given your strong preference for Google apps, sounds like a misplaced purchase. For a pure Google experience choose one of the Pixel phones.

Personally, our choices don't matter. ALL the tech giants such as Google, Samsung & Microsoft, not forgetting Apple (& not limited to those 4) all push an agenda of sales & profit, not much more! The very brand in your hand was outdated the moment you bought it & in some cases by models ie. more than 1. NO Offence to Apple, look at how regular they introduce a new version of the same thing you already have at a ridiculous price (ALL there products are double, if not more than they are worth & probably cost less than my daily cup of Flat White Coffee.

The frustrating part is the lack of cross over between the devices, brands etc without them losing out (market share).

Everyone of us is duped day in & day out with what we believe is 'choices' & is also rammed down our throats. Microsoft is the worst of all when it comes to the blatant disregard for what they call; out choices!

Frankly, what a crok of S$#t. My point is & this is going on all caps ! I HAVE NEVER LIKED ANY MICROSOFT BROWSER & I ALWAYS INSTALL GOOGLE CHROME (Note: all browsers are generally based on CHROMIUM - is it not a Google product?) I get my new computer, which in most cases is preloaded with Microsoft this & that. Microsoft clearly say you can install anything that is compatible but has anyone noticed of the last few years on how you go to your Troubleshooter App on Windows & without fail is ALWAYS days 'You haven't had any issues'. Franky I call BS on that, I've spent days, weeks more time than say a Microsoft executive would fixing said settings or tweaking it when the Blue Screen of Death comes around. My point, I install Chrome & set6 settings to who my Browser is - MY Choice Microsoft! Never having opened the Edge Browser & this no settings have been set to my favour but generally set to MICROSOFT'S Agenda. Every time you get something from Microsoft, or a help link etc it BLOODY opens Edge & Wham-O YOUR SECURITY IS COMPROMISED - we have no chance of EVER being secure. Do a rough guess at how many advertising companies are embedded in every System App & Store App etc & some have at minimum 1 -5, 10 etc there is no limit or regulation governing MY Device. Should I not be earning a return on these Advertising companies profiting from me without knowing who or exactly how many or even a real choice.

How many times have YOU, I & everyone else been told by the App Developers, the store or support etc that the Ads are a necessary evil. They apparently pay for the apps & we are expected to swallow the idea that your $1800 phone, plus the 500 apps of which you only installed approx 100 of them & may have even forked out money for 1, 2 or more.

It's all engineered towards the Agendas of which they, the tech companies etc, let you think they are doing you, me & themselves a favour & improving our lives etc... again, BS. It's all about the Profit Margins & Market Share! Since the 80's the term 'User Pays' has clouded the waters to confuse us into submission! Look, listen & take note of the ongoing increase in profits percentages & how remarkably as you and I continue to support this, that & ALL the profit driven people or companies out there but yet we aren't going in the same direction.

This yr I've taken 2 electricity companies to the ombudsman. Returned a Sony/Google so called Smart tv for being DUMB. Bought a new computer that needed repairs & holiday back to Asia while I deal with the BS of Agendas. I wouldn't hesitate to guess that not 1 person on this planet can or has FULLY been able to setup or know about the features of the phone in your hand. Fear not, the charade has only just begun... AI's coming & I can only say if it's like TOBACCO (PROFITS before FACTS) we are doomed by the real substance of progress. The only progress is the Bank Balance relating to the Agenda as discussed earlier & if you don't like it, buy another (SIMILAR) Brand.

Note: once I posted that comment somehow the account I logged in with changed & WHAT A NIGHTMARE. At some point my Samsung account has linked with another & NOT FROM CHOICE. Pissed off, the consequences of this are beyond my skills base & not a chance of fixing something that who knows how long or how far it has reached. FEELING very insecure with the conflicting settings & how extensive they are. I was considering starting my own Multi national tech company called KISS tech Keep It Simple Stupid Technology. I'm craving a phone that simply makes calls!
